No Water Supply For 48 Hours In Hyderabad From Sept. 9

Hyderabad, Sept 6 (Maxim News): A 48-hour water supply disruption was announced in several areas of Hyderabad by the officials of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Friday.

“Replacement works on the Godavari Drinking Water Supply Phase-1 project, which supplies drinking water to Hyderabad city, will disrupt water supply in several areas for 48 hours. HMWSSB has proposed the replacement of 900 mm diameter valves installed on the 3000 mm diameter MS pumping main at the Murmur, Mallaram, and Kondapaka pumping stations is scheduled from 6 am on September 9 and up to 11 am on September 10,” according to an official release issued by the HMWSSB.
