Panchayat Elections Reservation Lists Reach State Commission

Hyderabad, Nov 25 (Maxim News): Officials moved fast as district teams submitted Panchayat Elections reservation lists to the Panchayat Raj Commissionerate.

They brought three sets of gazette copies from all 31 districts. They also added Xerox copies and digital files in pen drives. District Panchayat Officers handed them over at the help desks. Officials checked every document.

They then prepared one verified set from each district. They sent these sets to the State Election Commission.

Officials also sent another set to Chief Secretary Rama Krishna Rao. This step completed the crucial verification stage.

The Commission now holds full district wise reservation details for sarpanch and ward member posts. These lists guide the entire election process. They confirm seats for general, women, backward class, scheduled caste, and scheduled tribe categories. Officials said this clarity helps districts plan faster. They added that early confirmation reduces disputes.

Moreover, the Commission completed technical checks on digital copies. It matched them with the signed gazettes. It also stored them for legal records

These steps strengthened the election workflow. They also ensured accuracy. Many officers said the process ran smoothly. They noted steady coordination between districts and the state office.

Meanwhile, the Commission prepared to release the Panchayat Elections schedule. It alerted media houses in the afternoon. It fixed a press meet at 6.15 pm at its office in AC Guards. Staff arranged briefings.

They also planned to issue a full notification after the event. Reporters expect clear dates for nominations, scrutiny, polling, and counting. They also expect maps for reserved seats. 

The Commission plans to circulate these through district collectors. This will help officials brief village level teams.
