Partner with TS growth: KTR appeals to NRIs

Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister K Taraka Rama Rao here on Monday exhorted Telagnana NRIs at Sacramento in the US to partner with the State government to transform Telangana into a golden State.

KTR held a meeting with Telangana NRIs at Sacramento and lured them with all facilities and cooperation from the government side. The Telangana NRIs have to come forward to transform the youngest State to become a destination for allround development and inclusive growth, he said. “Come and invest in the chosen sectors with same inspiration offered to achieve statehood”, he said. Listing the schemes and programs introduced and being lauded by other States at national level and NITI Ayog, KTR said they are working on a mission mode for welfare of the State.

Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya and a few other schemes have fetched laurels even as the State government was spending a lot of funds for the welfare and pensions and irrigation projects. Under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the youngest State was making rapid strides in every sector and has become a progressive State witnessing fast growth, he added. He also took a dig at the Opposition parties for their baseless comments and allegations against the government.

The Opposition parties are making a hue and cry for political mileage seeing no bright future if the TRS dispensation completes the projects and keeps all the promises. Frequent disruptions and obstacles being created by the opposition parties only to thwart development he said adding that the government will go undeterred with such mindless acts. The NRIs can interact with people and know what the TRS had achieved several things that were not done by the opposition parties during the 60 years of previous rule. KTR said that the government achieved significant development in power sector and wants the state to become a favourite destination for industries, business of international standards. He claimed that the government kept its promises and came up with new programs and schemes of welfare including uninterrupted power supply, new gurukul institutions, incentives being offered to agriculture, support for investors and industries.
