Passion and Revenge | Hyderabad, August 29: A 22-year-old painter was beaten to death in Sanathnagar late Wednesday night after being accused of having an affair with a married woman.

According to police, the accused, Rajaram, a mason residing in Borabanda, allegedly discovered that his wife was in an illicit relationship with Babulu, a fellow tenant and painter from Chhattisgarh.

Rajaram reportedly returned home late at night and found his wife with Babulu. Enraged, he, along with a few others, attacked Babulu with sticks, leading to the latter’s death.

Sanathnagar police arrived at the scene upon receiving information and took Rajaram and others involved into custody. Babulu’s body was shifted to the mortuary for a postmortem.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
