Pavani, daughter of Mekala Sambayya Bhikshamammala of Indiramma Colony in Kattangur mandal center, has been awarded a doctorate from Osmania University. The achievement marks a major academic milestone in the field of Commerce, highlighting her research work and personal journey.

She received her doctorate for Comparative Research in Eco Pilgrim Tourism in Commerce. The research was carried out under the supervision of Professor Krishna Chaitanya from the Commerce Department of Osmania University. The work was completed with academic guidance provided through the department, where Pavani pursued her doctoral studies.

Meanwhile, Pavani belongs to a poor Dalit family and has balanced her academic work with professional responsibilities. She is currently working as an Assistant Statistical Officer in Hyderabad. Despite social and economic challenges, she continued her higher studies and completed her doctorate successfully. Therefore, her achievement has drawn attention within academic and social circles.
