PCC Chief Clarifies On Jubilee Hills By-Election Candidate
Hyderabad, june 20 (Maxim News): With the death of Maganti Gopinath, a by-election to the Jubilee Hills assembly seat has become inevitable. However, will the Congress field its candidate there? or not? TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud has given clarity on the issue. He also responded to the issue of names coming to the fore.
Interacting with the media persons, he said that YSR continued the tradition of not fielding a candidate if a sitting MLA dies. KCR broke it after BRS came to power. Therefore, he said that he will definitely field a candidate in Jubilee Hills.
On the other hand, mahesh Goud also responded to former cricketer and former MP Azharuddin’s announcement that the Jubilee Hills Congress seat is is. he clarified that whoever declares himself as a candidate for the Jubilee Hills seat is their personal choice and the candidates will be selected only after the applications are received as per the procedure.
On the other hand, he was also questioned by the witness about the rift in the Warangal Congress. Responding to this, Mahesh Goud said, “the Warangal Congress panchayat came to Gandhi Bhavan. Both the factions complained against each other.
