- MANUU declares PhD award in Physics for Mohd Abdul Mujeeb
- Research on chromophores completed under senior MANUU faculty
Hyderabad: The Controller of Examinations at Maulana Azad National Urdu University has declared Mr. Mohd. Abdul Mujeeb, son of Mr. MA Majeed, qualified for the award of Doctor of Philosophy in Physics. The university announced the decision after completing the evaluation process. The recognition marks an important academic milestone for the candidate.
Meanwhile, officials confirmed that Mr. Mujeeb completed his research work under the supervision of Prof. H. Aleem Basha, Dean of the School of Sciences. Prof. Salman Ahmad Khan, Professor of Chemistry in the same school, served as the co-supervisor. Their guidance helped the scholar complete his work within the set academic framework. The announcement highlights the role of the School of Sciences in supporting advanced research.
The university stated that Mr. Mujeeb worked on the topic “Synthesis Photophysical Investigation and Third-Order Non-Linear Optical Properties of Some Chromophores.” The research focused on the study of chromophores and their photophysical behaviour. It also examined the third-order non-linear optical properties involved in the selected materials. The work adds to the scientific studies being carried out at MANUU in the fields of Physics and Chemistry.
Therefore, the award of the PhD confirms that the candidate met all academic standards required by the university. It also reflects the contribution of MANUU’s faculty in advancing studies in the School of Sciences.
