PM Asks Party MPs From State To Strive For BJP Win Next Assembly Polls

New Delhi, Dec.13 (Maxim News): The BJP MPs from Telangana State on Friday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here. The meeting lasted for 15 minutes.

The Prime Minister told the MPs that the party should win in Telangana State too in the next Assembly elections. He asked the MPs to work hard to bring the party to power in that State. Referring to the judgment of the Supreme Court, Modi asked MPs as to what kind of feedback they got from the people in the state. At this juncture, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy told the Prime Minister that they would have to wait for some more time to get the feedback of the people on the verdict of the SC.

The Karimnagar MP told the Prime Minister that the TRS did not support the Citizenship amendment Bill. Responding to this, the Prime Minister said he expected the same from the TRS and added that the family-based parties disappeared slowly from the State. He also gave some examples of different States in the country. (Maxim News)
