Internet/Hyderabad, Sept 11 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a series of key bilateral meetings with key heads of state for the BRICS summit to be held in India. Modi’s meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga and Chinese President Xi Jinping have gained international importance. The BRICS summit will be held in New Delhi on September 12 and 13 (PM Modi Bilateral Meetings).
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in New Delhi on Friday. He will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Modi ahead of the BRICS summit. Issues like trade, investment, defense, energy, nuclear power, and technology are likely to come up for discussion. On the other hand, Modi will also meet Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga. The two leaders are likely to discuss issues like bilateral relations with Iran, regional situation, trade, and connectivity (Modi Putin Meeting).
Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit India on Saturday after seven years (Modi Xi Jinping Meeting). There is global interest in the Prime Minister Modi-Jinping meeting. The Chinese Foreign Ministry has also made an announcement about the Modi-Jinping bilateral meeting. Issues such as the situation on the Line of Actual Control, bilateral trade, investment, and improvement of relations between the two countries are likely to come up for discussion between them.(Maxim News)
