PM Modi Unveils Pylon To Restart Amaravati Works

Amaravati/Hyderabad, May 2 (Maxim News): In the name of re-opening the capital of Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs. 57,940 crores in Velagapudi on Friday.

Works worth over Rs. 8,000 crore belonging to the central government sector were inaugurated. The Prime Minister unveiled the Amaravati Pylon to symbolize the commencement of the works.

The foundation stone for 18 projects was laid virtually from the public meeting venue simultaneously for all the capital works in Amaravati. Another Rs. 8 thousand crore worth of national highway and railway projects and a missile test range in Nagaland were laid. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored with a shawl by Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan kalyan and presented with a memento.

Police have made tight security arrangements in and around Vijayawada for the PM’s arrival. the Prime Minister, who arrived at Gannavaram Airport on Friday afternoon. was given a grand welcome by ministers, coalition MPs and officials. From there, he reached Velagapudi in a special helicopter.

On this occasion, Governor Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan kalyan and ministers gave him a grand welcome at the helipad. (Maxim News)
