Hyderabad, May 2 (Maxim News): The Telangana government has decided to increase the ex-gratia for sunstroke deaths to Rs. 4 lakh.
Previously, the ex-gratia for sunstroke deaths was Rs. 50 thousand, but the government has increased it to Rs. 4 lakh. To this extent, Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy reviewed 12 departments on the heat wave.
A heat wave action plan has been prepared, As part of this, the ex-gratia for sunstroke deaths has been increased to Rs. 4 lakh.
Minister Ponguleti wants arrangements to be made to ensure the availability of cooling stations and buttermilk centers in all areas, ORS packets. (Maxim News)
