Delhi/Hyderabad, Nov 12 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the victims of the Delhi blast who were injured and undergoing treatment at Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital. After returning from a two-day tour of Bhutan, the Prime Minister went straight to the hospital. He spoke to each and every one of the victims undergoing treatment at the hospital. He assured them that the government will support them.
After that, the Prime Minister went directly to the Prime Minister’s Office from the hospital. There, a high-level review meeting will be held shortly on the blast incident. He will talk to senior officials and get detailed details about the incident. He will discuss with them the steps to be taken in the wake of the blast. Meanwhile, a huge explosion took place in an I20 car near the Red Fort in Delhi at 7 pm last Monday.
Eight people died on the spot in the blast. Another 75 people were injured. Four more died while receiving treatment in the hospital, taking the total death toll to 12. The NIA is investigating the incident. Several accused have already been detained and are being interrogated. The Assam Police has recently arrested five accused in connection with the incident.(Maxim News)
