Police File Cases Against Bajrang Dal Activists

Hyderabad, Feb.15 (Maxim News): The Madhapur police cracked its whip on activists of Bajrang Dal for ransacking furniture and damaging properties at Malls and hotels, where special programs to hold ‘valentine’ day celebrations were slated to be held. The police have slapped cases against eight activists of the right wing organization.

The cases were booked after a complaint by the managements of the malls and the restaurants that suffered monetary losses during the attacks. The police have also taken several activists into custody. Following this, the leaders of Bajrang Dal staged a protest program before Madhapur police station demanding them to release their activists from the police custody. It may be noted here that the Bajrang Dal had called upon the youth and young couples of the state not to celebrate the valentine day and instead celebrate and remember the sacrifices of the Phulwama terror attack martyrs.(Maxim News)
