Political Ruckus During Ganesh Festival: BJP Leaders Obstructed Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy
Nalgonda/Hyderabad, Sept 5 (Maxim News) Tension prevailed at Ganesha Temple No. 1 in nalgonda Old Town today (Friday). BJP leaders interrupted Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy while he was giving a speech. BJP leaders expressed their anger at the idea of talking about politics during Ganesh festivals. This incident led to a scuffle between Congress and BJP leaders.
The police intervened. The poice arrested BJP district president Nagam Varshit Reddy. While Varshit Reddy was being taken to the local police station, the police stopped by BJP workers and leaders.
This led to a heated argument between the police and the BJP leaders. In this context, the police azre sending them away from there. They have warned that they will sit idly if BJP leaders are unjustly arrested. The BJP leaders have alleged that the police are acting unilaterally. (Maxim News)
