Hyderabad, Feb 6 (Maxim News): Maulana Sajid Rashidi, Chairman of the All India Imam Association, has made a surprising statement, saying he voted for the BJP in the Delhi Assembly elections—the first time he has ever done so.

AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday issued a warning to the government regarding the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024, urging it to reconsider the bill in its current form. Owaisi expressed that if the bill is passed as is, it would lead to social instability across the country. He stated that the entire Muslim community has rejected the bill and also emphasized how it'll be violating several constitutional laws. 

Seven MLAs from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) resigned on Friday after being denied tickets for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. These resignations reflect growing discontent within the party, with the MLAs expressing a loss of trust in the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and the party. The resigning MLAs include Rohit Mehraulia (Trilokpuri), Madan Lal (Kasturba Nagar), Rajesh Rishi (Janakpuri), Bhavna Gaud (Palam), Bhupender Singh June (Bijwasan), and Pawan Kumar Sharma (Adarsh Nagar).

Arvind Kejriwal, the former Chief Minister of Delhi and leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), today doubled down on his party’s accusations that the BJP-led Haryana government deliberately polluted the Yamuna River in an attempt to influence the Delhi elections. He also criticized the Election Commission (EC) for focusing on him instead of taking action against the Haryana government, which he claims is responsible for the alleged poisoning of the river.

Hyderabad, Jan 27 (Maxim News): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay, while hearing allegations that the state has been treated unfairly in the Padma Awards, said that the state government has not sent eligible people for the Padma Awards, and the Center will not give awards to everyone sent by the State government. He said that only those who are eligible will get the awards. He made strong comments that a Gaddar is a person with Naxal ideology.
