Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 9 (Maxim News): British Prime Minister keir Starmer has praised the Indian economy. He expressed hope that India will emerge as the world’s third largest economy by 2028. This has sparked a debate as to whether he is giving a counter to US President Donald Trump.
Keir Starmer, on his first visit to India as UK Prime Minister, attended a press conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and praised the Indian economy.
Namaskar doston, Namaskar friends, UK Prime Minister Starmer started his speech in Hindi by saying. he said that India is moving forward with the goal of becoming the third largest economy in the world by 2028, and he appreciates the Prime Minister’s leadership in this. He also said that 2047 viksit Bharat is about transforming India into a developed country. Everything I have seen here has given me confidence that you (referring to Modi) can achieve that goal. We want to be partners in that journey. Starmer (UK PM) expressed his hope.
Meanwhile, It is known that Trump described the Indian economy as dead in the wake of the Russian oil trade agreement. In this context, there is a discussion that the British Prime Minister’s comments are a counter to that.
