Red Alert Issued In Telangana, Heavy Rains For More Three Days

Hyderabad, July 24 (Maxim News): The Indian Meteorological Department, Hyderabad said that heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in Telangana for the next three days.  

Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rains from Monday to Tuesday.  Heavy rains are expected in Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddiqui and Nagar Kurnool districts.  To this extent, an orange and yellow alert has been issued to the respective districts. 

Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Mahbubabad districts will experience very heavy to extremely heavy rains from Wednesday to Thursday morning.  A red alert has been issued for four districts.  Heavy rains in Kothagudem, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Kumrambhim Asifabad, Manchiryala, Nizamabad, Jagityala, Rajanna Sirisilla, Karimnagar, Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Siddipet, Bhuvanagiri, Ranga Reddy, Khairatabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, it said that there are chances of heavy rains in Khairatabad and Sangareddy districts.  Orange and yellow alert has been issued for the respective districts.  (Maxim News)
