Police said the explosion was suspected to have been caused by a short circuit in the refrigerator. Soon after the blast, flames spread rapidly, leaving the victims with no chance to escape. Both individuals were reportedly asleep at the time, which further worsened the situation.

One of the victims was identified as Odisela Vijay (50), a daily wage earner from the town. However, the identity of the second victim is yet to be established. Authorities are working to confirm further details about the deceased.
