Hyderabad, July 22: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy urged Congress leaders to temporarily suspend their real estate activities and focus on the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme while addressing a public meeting in Kodangal.
Addressing local Congress leader Manohar during the programme, Revanth Reddy said, “What is our Manohar doing? Our Manohar should postpone it for 10 days. I do not know whether our people buy land in acres and sell it in yards to the poor. Stop that real estate business for a few days and focus on the SIR process. Go around the entire district, block by block.”
The Chief Minister stressed that party leaders should give priority to the Special Intensive Revision exercise and actively participate in its implementation across the district.
His remarks have since drawn attention on social media, where a video of the speech has been widely circulated. The comments have also triggered political discussion over the Chief Minister’s reference to real estate activities involving party leaders.
