While responding strongly to criticism from the BJP. Addressing a public meeting in Nizamabad, the Chief Minister said he had no objection to being called by different names, including “Revanthuddin,” as long as the intent was to divide society on religious or caste lines.

Revanth Reddy referred to remarks made by BJP leader Ramachander Rao, who allegedly criticised him by calling him “Revanthuddin.”

However, the Chief Minister said such comments did not affect him. Instead, he said he would happily accept any name, including Revanthuddin, Revanth Goud, Madiga or Mudiraj, as he believes in loving and respecting all sections of society.
