Rly police nab two from Jaipur for carrying gold & silver bars

Hyderabad, April 17 (Maxim News): The Government Railway Police, Secunderabad today intercepted two persons for possessing gold and silver bars worth Rs 45 lakh without proper documents.

The GRP personnel seized ten gold biscuits weighing one kg and 30 kg silver bars from the possession of arrested persons Vishal Raja Ram Varma and Nikhil Govinda Verma, both natives of Itwara in Nanded Town of Maharashtra. The duo was caught at platform no 6 when they came to the Secunderabad Railway Station in Jaipur Express.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax officials were called to find the origin of the seized gold and silver bars, said Secunderabad (GRP) Superintendent of Police G. Ashok Kumar. (Maxim News)
