Sabitha Hints At Journalists Getting Two Bedroom Houses

Hyderabad, Feb.24 (Maxim News): Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said journalists are likely to get two bedroom housing facility. “I will talk to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on the need for providing two bedroom housing facility to media persons”, she said.

Participating in a program of journalists here attended by State Press Academy chairman Allam Narayana and others, Sabitha said journalists too played a key role in the separate State movement. “I will discuss with the MLAs and make efforts to convince the Chief Minister to offer housing facility to all the scribes”, she said, adding that the State government was committed to welfare of journalists. She also said the scribes were deprived of land and housing for a long time and deserve to get the double bedroom houses.

Allam Narayana said the State government was committed for journalists welfare. He appealed to journalists to attend a meeting on March 8. (Maxim News)
