Saroj Khan Is Fine, Tests Negative For COVID-19

Veteran Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan, who was hospitalised due to breathlessness, is doing better now, filmmaker Kunal Kohli confirmed on Wednesday.

Saroj was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday after she developed difficulty in breathing. The 71-year-old National Award-winner has tested negative for coronavirus, a family member on condition of anonymity claimed.

“She was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra East for breathing issues. She is doing well now and will be discharged in a day or two. She doesn’t have COVID-19 symptoms. Her report has come out negative,” the relative said.

Kunal Kohli shared the update on Saroj Khan’s health on Twitter after speaking with her son. He tweeted, “Spoke to #RajuKhan just now. Son of #SarojKhan, He said Masterji is doing better & is recuperating. She was taken to the hospital as she felt breathless. No covid. She’s better now. He thanks everyone for their prayers & wishes. We hope & pray our beloved Masterji is home soon.”
