London, July 24: British investigators have concluded that Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Jalawi Al Saud, a member of the Saudi royal family, died from the combined effects of drugs, alcohol and prescription medication at a luxury hotel in London last year.
A UK court recorded the death as accidental, ruling out suicide or the involvement of any third party.
According to the investigation, the 29-year-old prince was staying at the Marriott Hotel in Kensington, London, when he was found unconscious on the bathroom floor of his room on November 25, 2025.
Hotel staff alerted emergency services, but medical personnel declared him dead at the scene.
A postmortem examination found a high concentration of alcohol in his blood, along with gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), cannabis and prescription medications, including Xanax and anti-anxiety drugs.
Medical experts concluded that the combination of these substances triggered cardiac arrest, resulting in his death.
The court classified the case as an accidental death, stating that there was no evidence to suggest suicide or criminal involvement.
