Scuffle Outside Parliament: Rahul Gandhi Likely To Face Criminal Cases

Delhi/Hyderabad, Dec 19 (Maxim News): There was extreme tension in the Parliament premises. Protests by ruling and opposition members created chaos. Congress leaders are demanding action against Amit Shah for insulting Ambedkar. As part of this, opposition party leaders tried to stop ruling party MPs from entering the Parliament. In this process, BJP MP and former Union Minister Pratap Chandra Sarangi was injured.

Rahul Gandhi pushed an MP as he was standing next to the stairs. It is understood that he came and fell on Pratap Chandra.

Sarangi claimed that while he was standing on the stairs, another Member of Parliament fell on him, resulting in a head injury. “Rahul Gandhi pushed a member of Parliament who fell on me after which I fell. I was standing near the stairs when Rahul Gandhi came and pushed an MP who then fell on me,” Sarangi told reporters.

Reacting to the allegations, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, “This might be on your camera. I was trying to go inside through the Parliament entrance, but BJP MPs were trying to stop me, push me, and threaten me. So this happened…Yes, this has happened (Mallikarjun Kharge being pushed).”

But we do not get affected by jostling. But this is the entrance and we have the right to go in. BJP MPs were trying to stop us from going in…The central issue is that they are attacking the Constitution and insulting the memory of Ambedkar ji,” he added.

Pratap Chandra suffered a head injury in the incident and was immediately taken to the hospital. It is reported that the BJP is planning to register an attempted murder case against Rahul Gandhi.

Meanwhile, Congress president Kharge writes to Lok Sabha Speaker urging inquiry into reported scuffle outside Parliament
