Delhi/Hyderabad, July 14 (Maxim News): Shiv Sena (UBT) senior party leader Arvind Sawant has issued legal notices to the rebel MPs. He clarified that Shiv Sena (UBT) is the original party. In the notices, he explained that their merger is not possible without the party’s permission. Arvind Sawant lashed out at the rebel MPs, saying that Uddhav Thackeray betrayed the party by winning on the party symbol. He said that their merger with the Shinde faction is illegal. Notices were sent to the MPs who joined the Shinde faction, Om Prakash Nimbalkar, Sanjay Jadhav, Nagesh Ashtikar, Sanjay Deshmukh, Sanjay Dina Patil and Walkhaure.
On the other hand, the Shiv Sena (UBT) party has approached Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. It has appealed not to approve their merger with the Shinde faction. The Uddhav Sena legal cell is arguing that only MPs do not have the power to merge as per the 10th Schedule (Prevention of Defection Act). The Shiv Sena (UBT) central office is ready to take strict action against six Lok Sabha members belonging to this party. With the internal dispute of the party..
