SIT Investigation Begins At KCR Residence In Nandinagar

The SIT investigation into the phone tapping case began at the residence of KCR in Nandinagar, Hyderabad. The Special Investigation Team commenced the probe at his house with senior officers present. The move marked a key step in the ongoing investigation, as officials started questioning KCR at his residence under controlled conditions.

SIT officers Vijay Kumar, Venkatagiri, Narayana Reddy, Sridhar, and KS Rao reached the Nandinagar residence with documents and equipment required for the investigation. They began the SIT investigation in a room located on the second floor of the house. Meanwhile, the officers allowed only one person to remain with KCR during the questioning. Therefore, Advocate Ramchandra Rao was permitted to stay with him to provide legal advice during the process.

Earlier, KCR left his Erravelli residence and travelled to Hyderabad for the SIT investigation. As his convoy departed Erravelli, people gathered along the roadside. They showed support by showering water on the convoy. Fans and supporters also greeted him and expressed their solidarity. Later, some people showered flowers on the convoy as it moved towards Hyderabad, showing admiration and support.

However, security arrangements remained tight at the Nandinagar residence. Party leaders and other staff were denied permission to enter the premises during the SIT investigation. The officers restricted entry to maintain focus on the inquiry. Meanwhile, only close family members were allowed inside the residence. KCR’s family members Harish Rao, KTR, and Santosh received permission to be present.

The SIT investigation continued as officers examined documents and questioned KCR as part of the phone tapping case. The presence of multiple senior SIT officers indicated the seriousness of the probe. Also, the decision to conduct the investigation at KCR’s residence highlighted the controlled and formal nature of the proceedings.

Later, officials continued the questioning while maintaining strict access rules. The investigation remained confined to the designated room on the second floor. Meanwhile, supporters stayed outside, while police ensured that no unauthorised persons entered the area. The SIT investigation is ongoing, and officials are proceeding as per the established process.
