Hyderabad, Feb.20 (Maxim News): Endowment Minister Indrakaran Reddy said State’s development relies on villages’ development. “Palle Pragati program was for providing all facilities and development”. This time educated persons were elected in the recent polls and got top posts in municipalities, he said.
Addressing a program for Palle Pragati at Mancherial, the minister instructed the local leaders and officials to vie for development through better plans of action. He said Panchayat Raj Act offers duties and funds for rural development besides taking serious action on those who failed to work. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar was offering Rs 339 crore a month to villages panchayats, he informed.
KCR also appointed 12,750 secretaries to villages. “Focus on education, health, clean and green programs”, he said.
Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya, pensions, irrigation systems are being followed by others. KCR dedication and commitment is for rural development and giving huge funds.
“It is your turn to make use of the funds and ensure speedy development of villages”, he said, adding Clean and Green programs will help push development program ahead. Complete works of dumping yards, vaikunthadhamas and kitchen sheds first and then others.
He also asked leaders and officials in the villages to address people’s issues. KCR’s vision was for development towns and villages, he added. (Maxim News)
