Telangana Has Become Bankrupt Under KCR Rule: laxman

Hyderabad, Feb.20 (Maxim News): Criticizing functioning of TRS government, Telangana State BJP President Dr K Laxman said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao always make tall promises to people before elections and forget them after winning the elections in the State. “Be it bye-elections, municipal elections or any other elections, CM KCR mislead the people by his promises and he will not keep his words after elections”, Laxman said.

Addressing the media at the State BJP office here, Laxman demanded that the government implement the PRC immediately. He said CM KCR was threatening government employees if they raise any demand. Citing an example, KCR threatened Tahasildars stating that he will scrap Tahasildar system when they demanded promotions as deputy collectors which fell vacant. There were 120 deputy Tahasildar posts lying vacant in the State, he said.

Accusing Chief Minister of neglecting future of educated youth and not protecting the interest of employees, he said the TRS had made promises of providing jobs to youth when it came to power. But it failed to address the problems of unemployed youth and could provided only about 20,000 jobs during last six years where as 50,000 employees have retired in the same period.

Laxman alleged that the State has become bankrupt and was unable to make payments to even pensioners and beneficiaries under social welfare schemes like Kalyanalakshmi, Shadi Mubarak and Raitu Bandhu schemes and they have been stopped for non-availability of funds. The government also failed to keep its promises of paying unemployed allowance, he said and took a dig at CM KCR stating that only his family members are getting political jobs, but unemployed youth are still waiting for government jobs for years together after formation of new state of Telangana.

Later, Dr Laxman felicitated K Satyanarayana, a BJP worker, who was elected unanimously as vice-chairman of Narsingi Co-operative society. State party general secretary Chinta Sambamurthy, former minister Narasimhulu and spokesperson N V Subash were also present. (Maxim News)
