Students Union Called For Schools And Colleges Bandh On July 12
Hyderabad, July 11 (Maxim News): Student Unions have stepped up to solve the problems of the education sector in the state. Many student unions have called for a bandh of schools and colleges across the state on July 12, demanding the government solve the problems in the education sector.
Students Federation of India (SFI), All India Students Federation (AISF), Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU), All India Democratic Students Organization (AIDSO), All India Students Block (AISB) Telangana Chapters of India Progressive Students Union (AIPSU), All India Federation of Democratic Students (AIFDS) has called for a bandh of schools and colleges on July 12 in Telangana.
The students were demanding the completion of the pending distribution of textbooks along with the provision of two pairs of uniforms to students, filling up the vacancies of teachers, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff, and extending the ‘Mana Uru Mana Badi‘ scheme to all schools and providing proper funding, vacant scavengers, and cleaning staff should be replaced and toilets should be constructed in all schools, proper laws should be brought to control the private schools that are charging exorbitant fees from the students.
