Organized jointly by the Suleman Khaeb Trust and Darpan Theatre, this will be a unique and memorable program. The play “Kewde Ka Ban,” written by Naeem Javed, is directed by Ali Ahmed, with music composed by Jaspal Singh Muni. This was stated by office bearers of the Suleman Khateeb Trust during a press conference held here today.

He also emphasized the importance of education. His poetry elevated the status of Dakhni literature and placed him among the foremost Dakhni poets.
“Kewde Ka Ban” (Pandanus Grove) is the title of one of his poetry collections, which is widely popular. Presenting it in a new and unique style aims to promote Dakhni literature and theatre, and to introduce the new generation to Dakhni poetry and poets.
Suleman Khateeb (1922–1976) was honored with the Karnataka Rajyotsava Youth Award in 1974. His works have been included in educational curricula in several states of India. His poetry reflects social reform, communal harmony, and cultural unity.
