Talasani Snubs Uttam For Pungent Comments Against BCs In Ruling Party

Hyderabad, Dec.25 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav slammed TPCC president N Utham Kumar Reddy for his pungent comments on BC leaders in party and Election officials on announcing schedule for municipal polls.

The minister reacted sharply against the Congress leaders for belittling the Backward Classes leaders in the party. “First of all, the Congress leaders should set their party right and give priority to BC leaders,” he said. Taking a serious exception to Utham Kumar Reddy’s allegations that the TRS was ignoring the BC leaders, Srinivas Yadav said the BC leaders in the Congress were unhappy with Utham Kumar Reddy for his style of functioning and trying to ignore them. He expressed surprise over Utham Kumar Reddy’s comments against the Election Commission on conduct of municipal polls.

Srinivas Yadav said the Election Commission perfectly knows how to conduct polls and came out with a poll schedule for municipalities and corporations, he said. Without preparation of voter list, reservations and arrangements, the Election Commission would not disclose the schedule, he added. He said the Congress knows it will bite the dust in the civic polls and therefore making baseless charges.

Asserting that the TRS victory was sure in the civic polls as people were extremely happy with the welfare schemes sand development programs initiated by party supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Srinivas Yadav said, “Our victory in the civic polls is clear and the Congress also knows its defeat in electoral battle”, he said. The TRS government was committed for promoting BCs and SCs for Lokayukta and State Human Rights Commission. He also said the Congress BC leaders were afraid of seeking tickets from Utham for the polls. In the TRS, BC leaders will win polls with comfortable majorities, Yadav said. (Maxim News)
