Speaking during an election campaign at Jubilee Hills on Saturday, he criticised the Congress government and challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to present concrete development results achieved in the past two years.

Talasani made a sensational statement, declaring that he would resign if the Congress government could show visible development in the Cantonment area after the recent by-election. He alleged that the Congress gave a ministerial post to Mohammad Azharuddin out of fear of defeat in Jubilee Hills.

He further accused Congress leaders of intimidating voters by claiming that rice and ration benefits would be stopped if they did not support the party. Talasani asserted that only the BRS knows how to effectively implement welfare and development programmes.

Predicting victory, he said the BRS would win the Jubilee Hills seat and expressed confidence that party candidate Maganti Sunitha would enter the Assembly with a large majority. (Maxim News)
