Teachers with Children | Hyderabad, Jan 22 (Maxim News): Teachers along with their small kids came to seize Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao’s official residence-cum-camp office, Pragati Bhavan, were arrested by the police and taken to Punjagutta, Bollaram, and Goshamahal Police stations.

However, they protested with small children in the stations from morning until now. The teachers are expressing concern that minimum meal facilities have not been provided. They complain that their children are suffering due to a lack of food.

Earlier, the teacher’s couple and children besieged the directorate of school education in Lakdi-Ka-Pul demanding that the spouses be transferred. They said that they have taken up silent initiation to convey their grievances to the government.

They displayed placards saying “Kiss is the word of the Chief MinisterCouples should not be separated… They expressed their concern that they were facing difficulties as the husband was performing duties in one district and the wife was performing duties in another district.

Police were heavily deployed in front of the directorate office in the wake of teachers’ agitation. Barricades were set up around. There was a traffic jam in this order. The police tried to forcefully arrest them as they did not have permission to protest, but the teachers resisted.

In this order, there was an argument and scuffle between the police and the teachers. Many teachers were arrested by the police. The children of the teachers were arrested despite the police not paying attention to them. (Maxim News)
