Telangana: 3 Dead In A Road Accident In Jagtial

Jagitial: Three persons were killed and three others received severe injuries in a road accident near Venkatapur of Korutla mandal late on Sunday night.

The incident occurred when a car proceeding towards Korutla from Jagitial hit a roadside parked lorry on the outskirts of Venkatapur after midnight.

While Gudikandula Laltha (30) died on the spot, Ramadavi (29) and her four-month-old son Charan breathed their last while undergoing treatment in Jagitial district headquarters hospital.

According to police, a native of Mallapur mandal, Gudikandula Srinivas went to Jagitial to drop his brother-in-law Chandramohan in the bus stand as the latter was traveling to Dubai.

Srinivas’s wife Lalatha, their children Srujan and Sherisha, Chandramohan’s wife Ramadevi, their children Sruthi, and Charan also went to Jagitial in a car.

While they were returning to Mallapur after dropping, Srinivas lost control of the vehicle after one of the tyres burst and hit a lorry parked on roadside

Latha died on the spot. After coming to know about the incident, police rushed the spot and shifted injured persons to Jagitial hospital.

Ramadavi and Charan died after shifting to hospital. Sruthi, Srujan and Sherisha have been shifted to Karimnagar hospital as their health condition turned serious.
