Normally, such intense heat appears in April or May. However, the early heat this year has worried many people. Farmers also fear possible crop damage. High heat during this stage can harm standing crops and reduce yield.

Experts also warned about falling groundwater levels. Long periods of dry heat often reduce underground water. Therefore, authorities asked people to use water carefully.

Meanwhile, officials advised people to stay indoors from 12 noon to 5 pm. Residents should go outside only for urgent work during these hours. Drinking plenty of water is also important.

Doctors advised people to protect themselves from dehydration. Elderly people, children, and pregnant women face higher risk during extreme heat. They should stay in cool places and drink fluids regularly.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely. They will release more updates if temperatures rise further. Until then, officials urged residents to follow all safety advice during the Telangana heatwave alert. (Maxim News)
