Telangana logs 256 Fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Hyderabad: Telangana on Sunday reported 256 Covid-19 infections, taking the cumulative number of positive infections to 7,86,678, while the total number of fatalities was at 4,109. As on Sunday, there were 5,135 active Covid-19 infections in Telangana, the health bulletin said.

Out of the 256 positive infections, a total of 107 Covid infections were from areas under GHMC, 19 were from Rangareddy district, 17 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 12 from Nalgonda and 10 from Khammam.

The health department has conducted 25,341 Covid tests on Sunday out of which results of 640 samples were awaited. A total of 767 individuals had recovered on Sunday with a recovery rate of 98.82 per cent.

So far, the health department has conducted 3,32,82,629 Covid-19 tests in the State out of which 7,86,678 have tested positive and 7,77,434 persons have recovered.
