Hyderabad, April 29: Several institutions from Telangana secured positions in the latest Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings, reflecting the state’s growing academic and research presence.
An official statement said the rankings highlighted strong performance in industry engagement and science education among participating institutions.
Telangana Universities Feature In Asia Rankings
A university official said the recognition reinforces the institution’s mission to promote innovation and academic excellence.
“We are particularly pleased to see our growth in industry engagement and our sustained leadership in the sciences,” she stated.
She added that the institution remains committed to ensuring steady growth and a smooth transition for the university in the coming years.
Among Telangana institutions, International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad secured a position in the 201 to 250 band.
Osmania University ranked in the 401 to 500 category.
Meanwhile, National Institute of Technology Warangal was placed in the 501 to 600 tier.
ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education secured a ranking in the 601 to 800 band.
The rankings evaluate universities based on teaching, research, industry collaboration and international outlook.
