Hyderabad, Nov.1 (Maxim News): TRS MP B Vinod Kumar today said the Congress will diminish to zero in the State after facing a serious debacle in the upcoming polls in Telangana.
Talking to mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan here today, Vinod Kumar flayed Telugu Desam Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for making a Delhi trip to cause inconvenience to TRS supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao. He opposed Naidu for holding a meet with AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi for just nine seats in the elections. The TDP too following the Congress which has its high command in Delhi and making trips to national capital, he alleged.
Vinod Kumar asserted that the TRS will play a key role at national level after the Assembly polls. He expressed surprise that Chandrababu snapped ties with the Modi Government after four years for the reasons best known to anyone. However, there were some differences among the NDA allies related to some issues or transactions led to snapping ties by Naidu. He also faulted Naidu for stating that he came out of the NDA regime in the name of failing to get special category status to the Andhra Pradesh State as denied by Modi.
While the Congress was deceiving the Telangana, Chandrababu was deceiving Andhra Pradesh people for political mileage, the TRS leader said. He also said NTR, who established the TDP for self-respect of Telugu people, Naidu was working in quite contrast. He also took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi for favoring special status only to woo Chandrababu Naidu as the Congress and the TDP forged an alliance. “We have no problem if special status was given to the AP without hampering the interests of the Telangana, Vinod Kumar maintained.
