Hyderabad, March 8 (Maxim News): IT and Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao today said that several schemes started to strengthen the women in education, finance and other sectors for empowerment. The state is ideal in many fronts with allocation of the funds for a women’s university, We Hub for women entrepreneurs and schemes of welfare, he said. The KCR Government addressed the drinking water problem for women to fetch water from long distances through the Mission bhagiratha program. We addressed the fluoride problem in Nalgonda district and gave water to all rural areas, he claimed.

At a program at Sultanpur the Minister offered to give a 10 percent subsidy incentive to women in women industrial parks. He inaugurated flow industrial park pylons and wooed the women attendants with multiple schemes and funds being allotted for their welfare. He said that Deepthi is heading the We Hub with an investment of Rs 66.30 cr. It helped 2194 new start-ups to work which gave jobs and employment to 2800 women and girls. We give priority to women in private sectors like Defense, Aerospace, health, food processing and others and creating lakhs of jobs now became a pharma hub of India as it produced corona vaccine and supplied it to the world to fight the pandemic. Ease of doing business is for promotion of industries as they get permissions in 15 days to start business. We gave permissions to about 18000 new companies which invested crores of funds and lakhs of jobs, he claimed.

Telangana is first in GDP, per capita income and power sectors and set records, he claimed. The minister attended a program in the city and vowed to develop the state with more funds and plans.

He presented Rs 42.53 cr loan cheque to the SHG team on the occasion held to mark International Women Day at GMR Convention Hall in Patancheru area. About 6000 women and girls attended the grand program as the minister wooed them with more sops and schemes. The women and girls are getting empowered in our state with more schemes and plans by the government. He listed out several schemes for women empowerment and being followed by other states. The Minister said that the schemes of welfare pushed the women to develop in education, health and politics. KT Rama Rao said that in addition to opening up several institutions for the girls specially, the government launched Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak scheme of marriage to girls reaching more than 10 lakh poor families in the state. The minister claimed that about 11 lakhs of families have benefited so far through KCR Kits scheme. He said that “She Teams” and Bharosa Centers are proving handy in the state, he said. We improved more facilities in the hospitals and saw a decline in mortality rates after deliveries, he claimed.

A large number of women prefer to deliver in the government hospitals and get financial assistance. The government gives Rs 13000 and Rs 12000 to each woman on delivery of a baby girl and baby boy. The institutional deliveries increased significantly as the most of the women availing KCR Kits and financial benefit. It is a record being emulated by other states, he said, adding that equally the government offers more support for women empowerment. KTR said that the We Hub program supports women as entrepreneurs. It is time to celebrate and support our women and girls development in all sectors and our state is ideal in this regard, KT Rama Rao said. (Maxim News)
