TSSP Aspirants Demanding Cancellation Of G.O 46 Detained At DGP Office In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sept 1 (Maxim News): Tension arose at the DGP office. The police stopped and arrested the youths of the unemployed Joint Action Committee (JAC) of rural districts who tried to seize the DGP’s office. Constable candidates demanded the cancellation of G.O. 46.

The police stopped and arrested the constable candidates who ran from the front of the Assembly to the DGP’s office. In this order, the altercation took place between the police and the candidates.  Constable candidates from rural areas are losing their jobs due to G.O 46.

Due to G.O 46, about 56 percent of posts are being filled in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda Commissionerate. Candidates are expressing concern that only 44 percent is allotted to the remaining districts.

They demanded exemption for TSSP constable candidates from G.O number 46. They demanded the government to replace the 2022 job advertisement similar to the 2016 and 2018 recruitments.  In the previous notifications, TSSP posts were appointed under the open category across the state, but now, on the contrary, the G.O. number has been changed to 46, due to which merit candidates are losing a large number of candidates.  It is known that the Telangana government has brought G.O. 46 in April last.
