Mumbai, Sept. 19 : Kunal Kemmu’s Vibe earned Rs 1.50 crore nett in India on its opening day, according to Sacnilk.
The comedy action film released in theatres on Friday. It marks Kemmu’s second directorial venture after Madgaon Express.
Vibe was screened across 3,194 shows and recorded an overall occupancy of 13.38% on Friday.
The film recorded about 6% occupancy during morning shows. However, occupancy rose to 11.31% in the afternoon and nearly 14% in the evening.
Vibe Matches Madgaon Express Opening
Delhi NCR recorded the highest occupancy among major cities, at around 13% across 440 shows.
Pune, Kolkata and Hyderabad each recorded about 11% occupancy. Mumbai also registered around 11% across 328 shows.
Vibe opened with the same first day collection as Madgaon Express. The 2024 film also earned Rs 1.50 crore nett in India on its opening day.
Vibe also released alongside Daayra, a crime thriller starring Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
