Waqf Board | Nalgonda, August 5: Pilgrims visiting the Janpahad Dargah were reportedly attacked on Thursday, an incident that included the vandalism of a car, but the incident came to light today.
The attack has been confirmed by Waqf Inspector Mahmood, who stated that a police complaint is yet to be filed.
According to Mahmood, the attackers broke the windows of a car belonging to one of the visitors. While the exact reason for the assault is unclear, the incident has raised concerns about the safety of visitors to the shrine.

When questioned about the delay in taking action, the CEO of the Telangana State Waqf Board assured that a formal complaint will be lodged with the police soon.
The entire incident has reportedly been captured on the Dargah’s CCTV cameras, which could aid in identifying the culprits.
The local people is calling for swift action to ensure such incidents are not repeated and that the sanctity of the pilgrimage site is maintained.
