Hyderabad, May 23: A fire broke out at the walkway of Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park near Jubilee Hills Road No. 45 on Saturday night.
According to officials, the incident occurred at around 8 pm when a pile of dry leaves collected by GHMC sanitation workers caught fire near the park walkway.
An official from the Punjagutta fire station said the fire was noticed quickly and was brought under control before it could spread further.
Fire Doused Quickly At KBR Park
Officials stated that a gardener present at the location immediately acted and extinguished the flames.
No injuries or major property damage were reported in the incident.
Authorities said the fire was limited to dry leaves piled in one corner of the walkway area.
The incident briefly caused concern among walkers and visitors near the park, but normal conditions were restored soon after the fire was controlled.
