Hyderabad, May 23: In a tragic incident in Medak district, two women from the same family died within hours of each other after reportedly falling ill.
According to family members, K Swathi (26) from Reddipalli had recently delivered a baby girl at her parents’ house in Chandampet nearly a month ago.
She reportedly developed serious health complications on Friday night and was shifted to a hospital in Medak for treatment. However, she died while undergoing treatment.
Family Shocked After Second Woman Dies
After learning about Swathi’s sudden death, her sister in law Soundarya (27) reportedly fell seriously ill and lost consciousness.
Family members said Soundarya, who had delivered a baby boy around a month ago, also died on Saturday morning within hours of Swathi’s death.
The back to back deaths left the family in deep shock and grief.
Relatives said both infants lost their mothers at just one month of age, leaving the family devastated.
Officials have not yet released further details regarding the medical conditions that led to the deaths.
