Gaza/internet/Hyderabad, Aug 23 (Maxim News): Israeli Defence Minister Israel katz issued a sark warning as the army intensified its effort to fully capture Gaza City. he said the gates of hell would open for Hamas if it did not accept the conditions and surrender. he issued an ultimatum on Friday, saying that the same fate befell the cities of Rafah and Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip, which have already been reduced to rubble.
He once again demanded the immediate release of all remaining hostages and the surrender of Hamas weapons. However, Hamas, which announced its readiness to release the hostages, made it clear that it was impossible to give up its weapons without establishing a separate state for Palestine. Meanwhile, the Israeli army has already begun preparations for a full-scale occupation in strategically important areas. A full-scale military operation is expected to begin in the coming days. Meanwhile, at least 17 people were killed in the attacks on Gaza City on Friday, according to local Shifa Hospital sources.
Gaza City is the lifeblood of the mass military and regime, which has a strong hold on the Gaza Strip. Israel believes that Hamas underground tunnels in Gaza are an impenetrable fortress against Israeli army attacks.
It is suspected that thousands of civilians, as well as vital infrastructure and health facilities, are still intact in these bunkers, Netanyahu’s government firmly believes that defeating Hamas and bringing the hostages out safely is possible only by fully occupying the city. Hamas militants took 251 hostages in an ambush on Israel 22 months ago. A total of 50 people, including 20 who are still alive, have yet to be released. (Maxim News)
