Siddipet, August 17: A woman allegedly beat her husband to death during a dispute over his retirement money and property in Husnabad, Siddipet district.
The incident occurred in Hanuman Nagar, where Venkatesham and his wife Rajamani lived.
Venkatesham worked as a Commercial Tax Officer in Asifabad. Rajamani worked as an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife.
Couple Fought Over Retirement Money
Venkatesham was due to retire this month. According to police, the couple had been arguing over his retirement benefits and property.
The dispute reportedly escalated on Sunday. Rajamani allegedly attacked her husband with a broomstick during the argument.
Venkatesham sustained severe injuries and died in the incident.
Police reached the spot after receiving information and arrested Rajamani. They registered a case and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
