15,000 New Voters Registered In Single Day In Hyd: Ronald Rose
Hyderabad, Nov 1 (Maxim News): In view of the new voter registration program for the Telangana Assembly elections ended yesterday (October 31), Hyderabad Election Officer Ronald Ross disclosed the details of newly registered voters in Hyderabad city. 15,000 new voters were registered in Hyderabad city on a single day.
Hyderabad Election Officer Ronald Ross revealed that the total number of Form 6 applications has reached 1.35 lakhs of which 83 thousand applications have been verified. With this, the total number of voters in the city is expected to reach 45 lakhs.
To increase the voting percentage in Hyderabad city, booth-level officers (BLOs) are conducting a door-to-door sticker campaign. A voter information pamphlet will also be provided to voters after the final list is published, Ronald Ross said. (Maxim News)
