Hyderabad: 9th National Facilities Managers Summit-2023 to be held today

Green Awards will be presented to some of the major IT Parks, and TFMC Social Excellence Awards will be presented to inspiring government teams

Women of steel will be introduced and explained how Steel Case, a furniture manufacturing company made it possible for 100% of women force into production lines in a male-dominated field.

.An inspirational Handloom Walk will be held by IT/ITES software employees.

Hyderabad: The 9th National Facilities Managers (MF) Summit 2023 is scheduled in the city on Friday, the 28th of April. It is a day-long annual conference of Facilities Management professionals, to be held at Anvaya Conventions in the Financial District in Gachibowli, disclosed Mr. Telangana Facilities Management Council (TFMC)’s President, Satyanarayana Mathala in a press note issued in the city,

Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Govt of Telangana, Mr. Stephen Ravindra, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman & Chief of Gastroenterology (AIG), and Ms. Manisha Saboo, will be guests and will inaugurate it and deliver a keynote address.

Followed by inauguration a panel discussion will be held on Perspectives of IT/ITES Developments (Post Covid Times) and insights. The panel discussion will throw light on employee safety and workplace requirements and strategies for workplace trends for the next 3 years.

Another panel discussion will be held on Corporate Real Estate Business Transformation—Technology Adoption/Digital First movements by CIOs (Chief Information Officers).

An expert talk by Kumar Bhaktavachalaq, CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of Math Works Pvt. Ltd/ will be held. He will talk about the future of facilities management, Trends in 2023, Innovative Ideas for Facility Management

Green Awards will be presented during the summit. Be a sustainable leader. Awards will be given to the best sustainable practices followed in major IT Parks, and communities. TFMC Social Excellence Awards will also be presented to the inspiring government teams.

A dialogue with the Human Resources team of Steel Case Inc, an American manufacturer of furniture will be held. Steelcase is the manufacturer of case goods, seating, storage, and partitioning systems for offices, hospitals, classrooms, and residential interiors. It is said to be one of the top furniture manufacturers in the world. Women of steel will be introduced during the summit.

HR Professional Gaurav Thakur and her team will explain how they made it possible to run a production line with 100% women force in a male-dominated field. 65 women are said to be working in this plant, located in Pune. This program is lined up to encourage more diversity in workplaces and also to encourage more women in the manufacturing sector, which is still dominated by men.

Another talk on next generation “Renewable Power” will be held. An inspirational Handloom Walk will be held by IT/ITES software employees.

One representative from 12 IT companies will walk on the ramp sporting handloom clothes to promote Handlooms Monday, a clarion call given by Mr. KT Rama Rao, IT Minister, Govt of Telangana. TFMC has been promoting Handloom Monday for a very long time.

The National FMs Summit-2022 is an annual conference of Facilities Management professionals. Well over 400 facilities management professionals will participate in the summit

The summit will focus on future technology and AI Practices which every Facility Manager will use in the next 10 years.
