70 Girl Students Fell Sick After Eating Contaminated Food

Wanaparthy/Hyderabad, July 7 (Maxim News): 70 girl students of the Amarachinta Kasturba Vidyalaya, Wanaparthy, Telangana fell ill after eating the contaminated food.  A total of 210 students from 6th standard to Intermediate are studying in the KGBV.  Last night they were served food with eggplant and sambar.  After dinner at around 11 o’clock, the students started having stomach pain

As there was only one teacher and a watchman in the KGBV, the students were not allowed out at night.  As the situation remained the same throughout the night, in the early morning, a private auto brought the staff and all of them were taken to the nearby Atmakuru Government Hospital.

The doctors and staff started immediate treatment for all the children, the situation was brought under control.  arrangements are being made to transfer the four students to Wanaparthi District Hospital as their stomach pain did not subside.  The parents of the students who came to know about the matter are reaching the Atmakuru hospital one by one.  they are worried about the condition of their children.  

Doctors say there is no danger to the students.  On the other hand, the authorities are investigating the causes of the student’s illness.  Has there been food contaminated, are there any other reasons? Inquiring has been started.  Mainly 9th, 10th, and Inter students are among those who fell ill.  first 45 students and then 15 more students were admitted to the hospital.  The students complain that this situation has arisen due to food poisoning.
